Linguist guide

Your workspace is the Editor, where you review and refine AI translations segment by segment alongside the source. This guide covers:

  • Editing segments — the editing workflow, approving, slash-command filters, comments.
  • QA and LQA — working with quality scores, fixing flagged issues, logging LQA errors.
  • Side panels & tools — research, TM/TB matches, AI review, preview, auto-fix.
  • Exporting — getting finished work out.

The editor

Editor layout​

  • Source column — the original text, read-only.
  • Target column — the translation, editable in place.
  • Status indicators — per segment: draft, edited, approved; QA scores and flags.
  • Side panels — comments, segment history, research/context, and TM/TB matches for the active segment.

The editor handles enormous files comfortably — segments load as you scroll, and the interface stays fast at 100,000+ segments.
