Project Manager guide

As a PM you own the pipeline: getting files in, getting quality translations out, and keeping clients' linguistic assets (TM and termbase) in shape. This guide covers:

A typical project lifecycle

  1. Create the project with source/target languages; attach the client's TM and termbase libraries.
  2. Upload files (or pull them in via a connector).
  3. Run translation — TM pre-fills exact matches, the AI handles the rest with TB/TM hints.
  4. Run QA scoring and review flagged segments.
  5. Hand the editor session to linguists for review and approval.
  6. Export translated files in their original format and deliver (or push back via the connector).
  7. Export the updated TM/TB so the client's assets grow with every project.
